Who We Are
Micheala Munsterman
Founder, Elite Medical Exercise
Fueling life to get the most living
Life is too short to be restricted by aches and pains. As the founder of Elite Medical Exercise, it is my personal mission to be an anomaly among the fitness industry by helping you evoke the best version of yourself through personal attention, rather than a one-size-fits-all program. At EMX, we believe in a well-rounded approach that includes exercise, mobility, stability, and strength. We take the time to listen to your needs and goals, in order to develop a program tailored to you. We will guide you toward a healthy physical and mental state of being!
I was raised as a true Texan, messy-haired, barefoot adventurer. This lifestyle instilled an active spirit in me. I spent my collegiate years playing NCAA volleyball while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science. I continued my studies at Texas State University (Go Bobcats!) where I earned a Master’s degree, focusing on the research of yoga and its mental health benefits. My research was published by the International Journal of Yoga (InJOY) and presented at a national yoga research conference.
After my years of schooling were complete, I gained experience with private studios focusing on medical exercise, personal training, yoga, and nutrition. These experiences gave me a broader range of expertise to help others with their well-being, inside and out. In my personal life, I am consistently reminded that fitness is for everyone despite their capabilities, no two people are the same, and the physical and mental benefits of fitness are endless. Together we will create a unique plan for your journey to healthy living!

I was raised in League City, TX. Not far from Galveston but not far enough from the Houston traffic! I was huge into sports, fishing, hunting, swimming, and anything to stay active and outdoors. I continued these passions w me through my schooling. I graduated from Clear Springs High School in 2018, then pursued further into my studies to Stephenville, TX where I attended Tarleton State University. I became a rodeo athlete, my freshman, where I rode bulls collegiately for Tarleton. Through the years I started to focus more and more on fitness and wellness. I graduated from Tarleton in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, after working for the campus recreation center and interning with Tarleton’s Athletic Performance lab as a strength and conditioning intern. I worked with the football, baseball, cross-country, tennis, golf, and cheerleading team. As well as many other sport programs for the University. I gained lots of knowledge and focused in personal training, strength and condition, as well as developing my own style of training. I gained a lot of experience working with young athletes gain strength and performance for their specific sports. After my school years, I took a job at F45 where I enhanced my skills and technique by training all demographics of clients from 16 years old- 50+ years old. Learned a lot about teamwork, high intensity exercises, and how to encourage my clients to push through workouts with encouragement. And I’m glad to say now that I have brought those talents to Elite Medical Exercise! Since I’ve been here, I continued my education and became a Medical Exercise Specialist. And with this certification I’m able to manage any medical condition and train my clients joint health and strength. I’ve also gained 2 new certifications this year with the FRA system. I have now added Functional Range Conditioning Specialist and Functional Range assessment Specialist to my tool bag, which allows me to assess my clients joint range of motion from head to toe and make my exercise prescriptions more efficient and effective. After being here for over a year, I’ve grown just as much as my clients have and I love seeing the progress we make week after week. As well as providing a safe and encouraging environment to strengthen my client’s bodies through our specific medical-based training.
Kristen
Hi, I’m Kristen Green, and I grew up in Robinson, Texas, where family, sports, and a strong community shaped who I am today. My journey into physical rehabilitation began with my own experience as an athlete, facing injuries and discovering how physical therapy helped me recover. I knew I wanted to empower others to take control of their health, so I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Texas Tech University.

During college, I focused on how the body moves and functions, which led me to an internship as an Exercise Physiologist at United Medical Center. There, I expanded my knowledge in cardiopulmonary rehab and cardiac stress testing. I later worked in the Emergency Department in Waco, where I deepened my understanding of comorbidities and how they affect recovery.

Today, at Elite Medical Exercise, I apply everything I’ve learned to help clients reach their goals, move with confidence, and live stronger, healthier lives. I’m driven by the belief that anyone can improve their health with the right guidance, and I’m here to make that happen. Outside of work, I love discovering new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with my family in Waco. Helping people live healthier, stronger lives is the ultimate goal and why I love what I do.
